Mission of the School

The mission of St. Michael’s Ukrainian School is to nurture the Ukrainian language, culture, national identity, and spiritual values among the children of our Ukrainian community. We believe it is important to raise a new generation that honors its roots, has a deep knowledge of Ukraine, and actively contributes to preserving Ukrainian heritage abroad.

We strive to create a warm, safe, and inspiring educational environment where every child can:
◊ learn Ukrainian as a means of communication, discovery, and self-expression;
◊ explore the history, literature, songs, and folk art of the Ukrainian people;
◊ take part in traditional celebrations and community events;
◊ develop respect for themselves, their families, their culture, and other peoples.

Our school unites Ukrainian families, the church, and the community, and supports the spiritual, moral, and patriotic upbringing of children in the Ukrainian diaspora.
