Father Georgiy

Father Georgiy was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. After completing secondary school and culinary college, he served two years in the army. In 1992, he graduated from the Kyiv Theological Seminary and went on to serve for many years at St. Volodymyr Cathedral in Kyiv.

In 2012, with the blessing of Metropolitan Antony, he was appointed rector of St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church in San Francisco, where he continues to serve with dedication and care.

As Religious Teacher at St. Michael’s Ukrainian School, Father Georgiy plays a vital role in nurturing students’ spiritual growth and cultural identity. He offers heartfelt guidance, prayerful support, and a constant presence in the life of the school community.
